Origins of Gourmet Pizza

The idea of mixing non-traditional ingredients, spices, seasonings and cheese put it all together defined pizza gourmet. For example, have you ever tasted a seafood lover pizza clam dream? It's something you can see on a menu of gourmet pizzas. Furthermore, how many times you would like a pistachio pizza? I love pistachios but I am a terrible cook. So I could not configure how to use this on a pizza. However, There are gourmet restaurants pizza with him in the menu. I think it's just brilliant.
