How do I get two male dogs get along?

I have to take care of my girlfriends dog, a poodle mini. The dog in my house (where I'll be watching the poodle) is a Shih Tzu. Both are men. Shih Tzu is not neutered, the poodle is. When the time comes for the dogs to be in the same house, how they present and make it along?
