Exposed to someone with Mono? HELP !!!!!!!!?

We were told tonight in the church that a child in my youth group has been diagnosed with mono. Proximety We were close to him late on Sunday (I sat one chair away from him, we all played the same nerf ball, eating the same bag of Doritos as a snack, etc) never mentioned that he was sick! From what I'm reading, Mono is very serious and highly contagious – and once you have it remain a company for life. So my question is (especially doctors, nurses, EMT's, etc.) What are the modes of transmission (never kissed a boy or shared an eating utensil, but sat one chair away – what if coughing or spitting while talking?) and how long is the incubation period? HELP! I have therefore Fear – I did not "want to take this terrible disease! In addition, you can have a blood test a couple of months after exposure to the test to see if you have mono? If you have had or are a monkey expert, please comment!

I really have to drink the same drink, saliva action, something of that nature to do so.
