2002 Vespa ET2 50cc will not start?
I was hoping for some help. 2002 Vespa ET2 50cc 2 stroke will not start …………. gas tank and put 1.Drained premium fuel in again. Compression is good (60 psi) in the OEM NGK 2.Put new spark plug and spark when you crank it. 3.When I handle and remove the fuel line carbohydrate in the flow of gas fuel line is connected to the fuel tap 4.I Weber carburetor was removed and cleaned everything with carb cleaner. Eliminated aircraft and mixture screws, needle valve float. 5.Reset large mixing screw 2 turns out from bottom. 6.Rest little mixture screw 1 1 / 2 turns out from bottom. 7.Did not do anything with electronic choke. 8.Reassembled and crank, and does not seem to get gas in the cylinder and the plug is not wet. 9.Took carburetor apart again and the gas is in the float. I'm at a loss. Thanks! Bob
Hmmmmm ……… be something that might need to de-coke. Carbon ports could be closed enough to avoid the boot, but that means dismantling the engine, unfortunately. Try the following link. There is a forum available, but I found is not always attended. (Go to "More Information".)
